Jessica Ristow works to create meaningful connections between the Sonoran Institute’s vision and the donors who passionately support that work. She is responsible for the cultivation of gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations, and organizes the Hummingbird Circle, a group of donors who annually support Sonoran Institute’s operations. Jessica grew up in northern California, and received a BA from the University of California, Davis in Sociology and Communication. Coming from the worlds of event planning, photography and gallery management, Jessica serendipitously stumbled upon the Sonoran Institute and was amazed by the balanced, community-based conversations that they were fostering in the West. She sees the work of creating vibrant, environmentally sensitive, sustainable cities and landscapes as the key to healthy communities and families...and is proud to share the Sonoran Institute’s work with those who want to invest in that shared vision.
