Beth Frantz joined The Sonoran Institute as the Director of Finance in January, 2009. She now holds the position of Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Previously, she was the Chief Financial Officer for two different non-profit organizations in Chicago from 2002-2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University and has more than 18 years of management experience in finance, accounting and business. While in the nonprofit industry, she has transformed an outsourced accounting job into an in-house, full functioning, finance department, reorganized fiscal management structures related to nonprofit health-care, and implemented expense and audit controls to bring organizations into a more sound fiscal position.
