Information:

Mr. Alfaro Rodríguez is a Restoration Assistant in the Colorado River Delta Legacy Program. He worked in construction and assembling factories (maquiladoras) in Mexicali before joining the Sonoran Institute in 2007. Alfaro Rodríguez mainly works in the field on restoration activities that include clearing non-native species, installing irrigation systems, and planting native trees. Alfaro Rodríguez is very interested in bird watching and has helped monitor bird activities in the Colorado River Delta. He believes restoration activities are an important part of increasing his community’s quality of life.
